CONTRACT CREATION & IMPLEMENTATION

Using a contract with clients is an essential step in running a professional bridal alterations studio. There’s no way to predict if or when we’d need to implement the contract, but by having our client’s signature on our policies, we’re protecting ourselves from potential conflict.

A contract should clearly state your business policies and expectations, so clients know what to expect from you, and what is expected of them.

In this training call, we discussed how to create a contract that fits your business, when to introduce it to clients, and additional information you’d like clients to sign off on.

An example contract is provided, along with an example of an intake form to use during your first fitting. You’re free to alter these documents as needed to better fit your own business.
